My name is Ginger Chen. I am a Leo with Libra Rising. My Enneagram is One-wing-Two.
I grew up in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to the US in 2010. I am into design, art, toys, movies, outdoor activities, aerial arts, yoga and personal growth.
Here is a simple story of mine.
I have devoted myself to design, art, art toys and winter sports for over 10 years. I’ve always had an interest in the latest technology and trends in the areas of art and snow sports as well. I attended many trade shows and events in order to keep my knowledge at the peak of my industry, including 5 years of SIA (Snows ports Industries America), 5 years of SDCC (San Diego Comic Con), various industry and licensing conferences/shows, and 9 years of Designer Con (Art and Toys). I have been very active in the art toy scene in LA for years, and have close relationships with many artists and local toy art shops.

My strengths have always been in Graphic and Web design, and I am also an art toy designer, a toy collector, and a comic movie fan. To expand the potential of my passion and bring my hobbies to professional level, I co-founded and directed three companies: A Snowboarding accessories brand in U.S (Wrong gear), a POP Art Gallery in Taiwan (Wrong Gallery) and, a ski and snowboarding school in Japan.
In year 2009, I co-found a snowboarding accessories brand in LA called “Wrong Gear”. I made the first prototype myself and this product line became one of the best known face masks in Japan in the following couple years. I also design clothing, bags and snowboards for this company.
In 2013, I returned to Taipei, Taiwan and co-founded a pop surrealism gallery. It has become a land mark in the art district and also one of the most popular art spaces in the capital city.
In 2015, I went to Hakuba, Japan and co-founded a ski school, We provided professional ski and snowboarding lessons for visitors from all over the world. I managed the instructors and also designed all the art related material and social media updates.
In addition to instructing snowboarding, I also teach pole fitness and aerial hoop.
In 2017, I move to a mountain town near LA called Idyllwild. Life in the mountain inspired me start to creating again, and now I have a etsy shop (GingerDropLab) for custom dream catchers and ceramic art toys.

我是Ginger Chen，來自台灣、台北，大學主修工業設計，我在課業餘暇擔任時裝秀model以及教會團體的青少年輔導工作。畢業後我進入設計公司工作，離開台灣前我加入台灣的第一間網路報社- 明日報擔任藝文中心的網頁設計。2000年進入舊金山藝術大學(AAU)主修電腦藝術 (Computer Art- New Media)。2003年進入洛杉磯的東森美洲台服務，參與的工作從電視台活動宣傳到影音商品的設計與行銷。
2009到2016年與朋友共同創業了三個公司，一是美國滑雪的配件品牌 Wrong Gear Sports、二是位於台北的藝廊-靠邊走藝術中心 Wrong Gallery Taipei、第三是在日本的滑雪學校-無線界滑走 Cross Shred Ski School，負責的工作內容除了本身擅長的平面與網站設計之外，同時負責三間公司所有的宣傳文字、網路社群管理語跟媒體的互動。
工作之餘，我也樂在寫作。我經營個人的部落格 (Ginger Drop 薑味含錠) 有超過15年以上的歷史，內容從藝術、收藏、動漫活動、電影到戶外冒險活動。
除了擔任滑雪教練以外，我也從事鋼管舞健身(Pole Fitness)、空中吊環(Aerial Hoop)的推廣與教學。
2017年開始，我在洛杉磯市郊開設個人工作坊，接受客製的捕夢網(Dream Catcher)，我的網路商店為 Etsy Shop。
